Guido Facchin

E' un concertista, didatta e studioso. Ha vinto prima l’Audizione Nazionale per Percussioni dell’Orchestra Haydn di Trento e Bolzano, e poi l’Audizione di percussionista al Teatro La Fenice di Venezia. Ha collaborato con le Orchestre di San Remo, di Treviso, di Padova e del Veneto, Pocket Opera di Trento e National de Radio France. Ha fondato il Gruppo Percussione 4 e il Tàmmittam Percussion Ensemble. Ha insegnato Teoria e Solfeggio ai Conservatori di Padova e di Vicenza, e in seguito Strumenti a Percussione al Conservatorio di Musica di Vicenza, dove attualmente tiene Master di Musica d’insieme per Percussioni. Ha vinto il 1° Premio di Composizione A. Di Giacomo - Comune di Messina. È autore di varie composizioni e pubblicazioni tra le quali il trattato Le Percussioni (1ª e 2ª ed., EDT/ SidM, To, pref. di J. Cage e M. Kagel, 3ª ed. Zecchini Ed. pref. C. Ambrosini, G. Manzoni, C. Chiarot); Oggetti Sonori (coll. M. C. Caroldi, Erickson Ed.). Ha inciso con il Tàmmittam Percussion Ensemble, vari CD tra cui Chamber Music by Luigi Nono (Artis Records), Piano and Percussion in the XXth, il monografico Homage to Lou Harrison, in 4 vol.; 25 Years With the Tàmmittam Percussion.

Guido Facchin, is an artist concert artist, teacher and scholar. He won first the National Audition for Percussion at the Haydn Orchestra of Trento and Bolzano, and then the Audition for Percussionist at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. He has collaborated with the Orchestras of San Remo, Treviso, Padua and Veneto, Pocket Opera of Trento and National de Radio France. He founded the Percussion Group 4 and the Tàmmittam Percussion Ensemble. He taught Theory and Solfeggio at the Conservatories of Padua and Vicenza and then Percussion Instruments at the Conservatory of Music in Vicenza, where he currently holds the Ensemble Music Master Class for percussion. He won the 1st Premio Composition A. Di Giacomo - City of Messina. He is the author of various compositions and publications including the treatise Le Percussioni (1st and 2nd ed., EDT / SidM, To, pref. By J. Cage and M. Kagel, 3rd ed. Zecchini Ed. Pref. C. Ambrosini, G. Manzoni, C. Chiarot); Sound objects (group M. C. Caroldi, Erickson Ed.). He has recorded with the Tàmmittam Percussion Ensemble, several CDs including Chamber Music by Luigi Nono (Artis Records), Piano and Percussion in the XXth, the monographic Homage to Lou Harrison, in 4 vols; 25 years with Tàmmittam Percussion.
